The Scarab Jewellery Studio brand celebrates 25 years of jewellery making
To celebrate 25 years of jewellery making, Scarab hosted a very special exhibition at Irma Stern Museum at the lower campus, University of Cape Town.
The exhibition was a story line retrospective showcasing 25 years of crafting jewellery and relationships. Eight months of work involved designing and creating a fresh new range of beautiful scarab pieces along with documenting the stories and tales of the relationships between Scarab Jewellery and its customers.
From humble beginnings in a simple jewellery studio in the arty suburb of Observatory, Cape Town, Scarab Jewellery South Africa has steadily grown to boast a professional on-site workshop and design studios in Cape Town. Owner Janine Davidson and her talented team lavish care and attention on their clients, and on each piece of jewellery they create. Jewellery is about emotion. It can be a gift of love, an object of desire, or an heirloom to be passed down to future generations. It’s an expression of self. The staff delights in creating exquisite pieces that their clients inevitably fall in love with.
