Friendship, Daughters, Goddaughter & Scarab moments

Marie and I have been long time fans of Scarab both of us starting our journey and love of your beautiful jewellery in the early days of your Observatory shop before we actually knew each other.

We met when pregnant, 27 years ago. Marie with Meg her beautiful daughter in these pictures and I with Daniel who was born 3 days before Meg both in June 1995. In the early days of our friendship we both recognised that we loved your signature Scarab pieces and shared the delight we had when wearing them. It was one of the many common interests we had.

Fast forward to Abby’s birth 3 years later, also a June baby. I asked Marie to be Abby’s God mother, knowing how beautiful a friend Marie was to me and how much we had shared during the early years of Daniel and Meg’s lives.

Our friendship has been a precious one. Our children’s friendship too has been special. We have delighted in  moments over the years with the various events that have seen both of us have new items added to our Scarab collections, both of us choosing you Janine as someone we know and trust to re model and design beautiful pieces for us. We have also bought our girls gifts from your store and each one has significance and has bought joy. Abby’s 21st birthday gift from Marie, her God mother was a beautiful pair of earrings, and my gift to her a bracelet.

I really want to take this opportunity to congratulate you on your 30 years of gifting so many people with the beauty of your skill for us to take pleasure in the day to day ritual of dressing and adding your jewellery to make us feel polished and unique.
