Buying Jewellery Abroad: Carey and Mark Neill love how easy it is to buy Scarab Jewellery from anywhere in the world

Zimbabwean Carey Neill recalls knowing Janine pre-Scarab days. She shared a time-line of Scarab connections and moments with us:
“Janine and my husband Mark were junior school friends and Mark subsequently became mates with Janine’s brothers and got to know the entire Davidson family.”
Carey’s first Scarab piece was given to her while she was in hospital after their second child was born. Carey pauses in her story, remembering that day, “Mark bought me my eternity ring, which to this day, I just love! I still get complimented on it. It was custom-made by Janine to signify the births of both of our children.”
“I first met Janine in Obs, in Lower Main Road, and then followed her to Nuttall Road with the very colourful locals who frequented the car park.”
“For my 40th birthday, I was given a beautiful silver bracelet with different-coloured gems from friends.” Janine and her brother gave Carey a garnet earring and ring set. “And for my 50th, my family gave me red gold moonstone ring; and my friends all clubbed together and commissioned a long blackened chain with moonstones and fob. Sometimes I even wear it around my wrist – so it’s very versatile.”
For their 20th wedding anniversary, Mark gave her a pair of diamond studs which Carey wears all the time. “You know, Janine’s very clever. She knows when to call and prompt Mark and then guide him in the direction of what he needs to get as a gift.”
“Last year for our 25th wedding anniversary, I was given my black diamond eternity ring.” Carey had her engagement ring remodelled. Janine changed them into stacking rings which Carey enjoys mixing and matching up with other Scarab pieces up as they all work so well together.
And her last word on Janine: “She is just eternally even-keeled. I love her creative mind. I love how she can read where I’m going with something or what I want even if it’s for a friend.”
